Exciting new classes and design ideas for the autumn classes. It is all sew much fun!

ree

You'll notice a few changes in our monthly newsletter and website. From new classes to an easier way to renew classes, we're excited to have you with us! It has been an exciting year with so many dedicated new students. Our sewing classes are full, most months, with the most amazing followers willing to be on a "paid waiting list". Sometimes it takes a few months to get students into a class but everyone gets into a class.

For the first time since the "covid era," we are excited to offer an intermediate class for students who have been through our beginning sewing classes and are truly advance beginners. Take a look at "Sew Like a Pro--The Shirt."  It is the next step in your sewing adventure.

Be sure and take a look at the field trips that are planned. Nashville is shining with sewing related exhibits. This is the fun part of taking classes and expanding our horizons.

Hugs,

Marguerite

PS: Scroll down and see the lists of fabric stores--some new and some who have been around a long time.

We will be sending invoices out the 3rd week of each month. For current students or continuing students returning for the following month, tuition is due by the 4th class of each month to secure your place in the next months class. After the fourth class students on the "paid waiting list" will be called and offered available spaces. We appreciate your cooperation in making this a "seamless" event!

Fabric Stores

Nashville has had a rough year with the closing of some of our dearest fabric stores.

First and foremost: Textile Fabrics!  You have kept Nashville in fabric for 50 years. Oh, my goodness you are missed. All of you who have worked there for years and given so

much sewing advice are thought of so often. I hope you are all enjoying your retirement.

JoAnn's Fabrics: Fabrics and craft supplies for everyone. You had something for everyone. At least we will be able to find some of your fabrics at Michael's.

Now for the new fabric stores--go out and investigate them all: (actually, some have been around for awhile!) Fabric House, Stitchers Garden, Children's Corner, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Walmart, Music City Textiles (Very new, opening soon), Gina Bernina Sewing Machines & Fabric Store (Grand opening, July 31st), The Quilting Squares of Franklin.

Online Stores:  Mood Fabrics, Craft South, Spoonflower, Etsy and Amazon.

Happy Shopping!
