Two movies, a quilt show, and a sewing competition--October has been busy. It is so much fun to go to these events and see what is out there in the wonderful world of sewing. After our events we like to find a restaurant where we can have a discussion about what we have seen, as in, Lady Mary's navy blue dinner dress in Downton Abbey or the sparkle of Manuel's garments. As sewing artists, everyone sees something different and we have some lively discussions. We are always looking for an idea for a garment or an new technique.
